SECOND DRAFT

Here is the second draft of my music video. I have changed the model as my previous model wasn't very comfortable whilst filming, however I feel using her helped me achieve the kind of look I wanted which made re-shooting with my new model a lot easier. I have interpreted new ideas into this new draft of my video, such as using the stage in my school hall towards the end of the video to depict how the artist has grown which is another visual progression - started in a small, black studio and then progressing on to a big stage. I also used a lot more lip syncing scenes which I feel worked effectively. I plan on editing this footage and adding the last shot (which is a photo of the young woman in a frame, with the older version of the woman looking back at herself) within the next week in time for my final draft.

Filming/editing schedule

Scene One:
Filming - 8th December 2014, 3-5pm
Editing - 11th - 18th December primarily. Continuing onwards until reshoots.
Reshoot - 16th February 2015, 12.30-3.
Editing: Continuing until finalised music video.
Progress: This will be filmed in the black box studio in the recital room at my school. There will be two spotlights and my model will be sitting in the middle of the darkened room, singing the lyrics of the song and applying makeup, doing her hair and getting ready. All props of makeup and hair products needed and black cloth for the table. I will try to get footage from several different angles in order to make the footage look diverse when put together in the music video.

Scene Two:
Filming - 11th December 2014, 4-5pm
Editing - 11th - 18th December primarily. Continuing onwards until finalised music video.
Progress: Filming of the old woman watching TV and looking back on younger self. Filmed in models home in Ruislip. Photoframe containing picture of model.
